Are you making wise decisions in life, how can you tell?
I don't believe anything. But I do have very strong suspicions.
I don't believe anything. But I do have very strong suspicions.
When was the last time you had a significant realization that shifted your entire perception of life?

This is an invitation.
An invitation to become really honest with ourselves first and foremost.
If you have been reading these alchemical letters, there was a ton of information shared.
Several departures from the culturally sanctioned norm.
Several challenges to start questioning our beliefs.
And a few foundational principles (mental shortcuts) to become clearer thinkers and feelers.
NOW, I INVITE YOU TO DROP IT ALL.
Anything that is not grounded in your experiential knowing, as a distinct form of knowing in comparison to descriptive/intellectual knowing.
Once you peel away all of what you believe to be true and allow the remaining direct experiential knowing to remain.
WHAT'S LEFT?
If I put my hand on a burning stove, I will burn and hurt. It will take days, if not weeks to heal.
If I jump from a high, I will land with gravitational force.
That kind of knowing.
Supported with experiential evidence.
I trust you already sense where I'm going with this.
THERE'S A SHIT TON OF BELIEFS THAT YOU PICKED UP ON YOUR JOURNEY SO FAR
Where do those come from?
Can you sift your way through the most elaborate beliefs, especially around the nature of being, the universe, and existence itself?
The ontological (existential) truths.
How can you make sense of those?
I cringe frequently when I read or listen to individuals channeling metaphysics with the conviction of an absolute nature.
Our sense-making of things of a superior nature is beyond our ability to wrap our minds around.
This is why I am a strong advocate of developing a fusion of intuition and logic.
I call it Intuitive Logic and often Logical Intuition.
This is the ability to merge these apparently paradoxical senses.
Tuning into your visceral knowing sense, feeling the feels.
It's a navigational tool.
Your emotions are a finger pointing towards underlying beliefs.
You often see individuals being entirely emotional, in their feeling sense, and making all decisions in life, based on "the vibe" or resonance.
Dismissing any attempt at reason, sense-making through thinking, logic, and application of mental models.
On the other side of the spectrum, you'll see entirely rational individuals, imagining to make decisions based on their thinking capacity and dismissing the emotional undercurrents as drivers of those decisions.
THIS IS THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM ๐
How to become wise using this 1 boring technique 99% of people ignore.

The too long didn't read of the Twitter thread above is:
Don't mistake reading and learning for progress.
Don't confuse mental masturbation for sense-making.
Don't build perfect models of the universe in your mind unless you take the next step and integrate those models into daily life.
Don't take on new information before fully embodying what you digested already.
That's where the rubber meets the road.
An embodiment of your truth.
Narrowing down your entire existential map of the universe to the most simplified principles that you are able to verify with direct experience.
I also invite you to hit reply and let me know your thoughts on this.
What are the fundamental beliefs that you govern your life with?
