The old way of living is dead!

Long live the creator economy.

And here's why you should care:

If you're at a stage in your life where what you do (work) isn't aligned with what you think (ideas) and how you feel (desires) about it is shitty.

You're not alone. This isn't a new concept.

In fact, having these 3 centers of being in balance, is what the most traditions are about. At least at their core.

Why you feel depressed after 2 years of lock-downs and work from home isn't because of a virus.

It's because you got first row tickets to meaningless work and purposeless meandering.

The removal of entertainment and everyday distractions is what made this painfully obvious.

There's two ways about it.

1. Either you're already walking the path you've chose for yourself, showing up every day. Living on your own terms.

In which case. I'm preaching to the quire and this may serve as a painful reminder of why the alternative is far less painful.

2. You have no idea what I'm on about and find it "normal" to sacrifice your precious time on Earth to (insert antagonist) for the illusion of safety.

If you don't fall in either of these 2 camps.

Then huddle up.

We are witnessing a civilization-level transition. This evolution will have an impact on the human population on a grand scale.

We're talking Agrarian, Industrial and Information revolutions.

The immediate outcomes of this phase shift are as follows:

- Gradual crumbling of institutions (government)

- Big Enterprise Smart city growth (think Google campus but bigger)

- Automation and dissolution of a large share of existing work (without gov. safety nets)

Being a member of these mega tribes will cater to all your needs. Infrastructure, services, accommodation, food, ...

You'll get everything you need, in exchange for unquestionable loyalty and exemplary behavior.

Think social scoring systems (like in China) coupled with quarterly performance reviews.

That sounds fun right?

It doesn't need to go that way. The very same technology and resources available to big enterprises are democratized.

Barriers to entry are dissolving (internet connection and a device).

Open sourced software and interoperable systems offer foundations.

Tools for governance and congregation with your tribe are here for the taking.

The choice is yours.

- complacency, comfort and perceived safety?

- temporary discomfort, fears and liberty?

The latter is an accelerated path of reconditioning and re-patterning your central nervous system and mental models.

Conducive to growth and expansion.

The most efficient way is by finding others on this path. By surrounding yourself with individuals who are already at least one step ahead. They are able to guide and support.

You know the old adage: show me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are.

The Creator economy is not necessarily a new thing, but it is THE thing.
