Single most powerful reality rendering machine
It's Monday, June 20th 2022 and bearish sentiments are rampant in the Marketsphere.
We just witnessed a FED interest rate hike for the first time since the last (unresolved market crash of 2008) and QE (quantitative easing) is swapped by QT (quantitative tightening).
FUD (fear, uncertainty and despair) is at an all time high as we witness a downturn in the financial markets and a spiral downward into an economic recession and potentially the greatest depression since the early 20th century.
You might be thinking, stop killing my vibe man, wasn't the past two years of viral terrorism enough hardship as it was!
Sure, that's a reasonable ask. I wrote a short piece on that episode last year and it's still highly relevant to date.
My intention is not to add on top of the existing layer of fear and despair, rather to take an uncompromising look at where we as a collective find ourselves.
And more specifically, what you can do about it.
I think we passed the threshold of being able to ignore our collective issues and the impeding doom we're facing.
It's just become very obvious in the past 2 years. Not that there's anything particularly new about them.
And I've been stretching my mind and my efforts in raising awareness of those issues, pointing fingers at the usual suspects for ages.
Whether it be the elite's insatiable appetite for power, the complete disregards for individual freedom and our attitudes to the hand that feeds us: Planet Earth.

And taking things further, I agree with Naval on this, the objective of media is to saw the seeds of fear porn and make everything seem like an incomprehensible and unsolvable task.
That will put you squarely in the feeling powerless category and asking daddy government (Happy belated fathers day btw) to protect you from the World.
How convenient!
Another outcome spawned from this narrative is that the majority of people become blind to their own capacity to impact change in their lives.
The big secret is: You yourself alone are the single most powerful reality rendering machine in existence.
You have the ability to build a subjective reality tunnel that is entirely different from someone else's who might be sitting right next to you in an open space office right now.
How peculiar.
Meaning, regardless of an outside shared event, such as a drop in value of ETH or BTC, it is perceived entirely subjectively and interpreted miles apart by two individuals.
So what am I alluding to here?
I'm suggesting that in order to rid our collective of its most pertinent issues and the impeding collapse of our ecosystems, we don't try to solve the issue on the collective, but rather on the individual level.
Because a society doesn't really exist. It's abstraction, implying a collective of individuals, but you can't point your finger at a society. It only lives in one's mind.
Resolving any issue therefore also starts with our mind.
It is upon you and I individually to envision a different reality and gradually pull our collective efforts into making it happen.
That's not Wishy Washy New Age WooWoo-ism.
Rather, it's employing cognitive thinking capacity to resolve core psychological issues and misapprehensions (false beliefs and conditioning).
It's the actual Hogwarts School.
Upgrading our outdated centrally controlled operating system and swapping it out for a version that enables us to use our full human potential.

Can you please stop circling around and come to the point?
Sure thing captain impatience.
I see we find ourselves at a fork in the road.
One is a path leading to the conclusion of this increasingly totalitarian, corporate/governmental encroachment into the lives of individuals with the complete stripping away of all liberties and privacy in service to "the greater good".
Notice the greater good being referenced throughout history whenever a political high-jacking and usurpation of liberties is in the pipeline?
It's akin to Daenerys Targaryen's rallying cry at the beginning of her political campaign and the implementation of this egalitarian principle on the back of a fire breathing dragon burning down King's Landing and it's townsfolk.
The other path, is an on-chain decentralized participatory governance composed of a myriad of "Island states" in the image of the earlier Ancient Greece.
No need for a single authority, no need for overreaching control since each node plays its role in the consensus around key challenges on the local as well as global level.
But isn't this just a Utopian dream?
Everything you see around you was first born as an idea in someones mind. Every dream pursued to its realization is what enables us to exchange ideas and over this medium across time and space.
If that's not amazingly wonderful, I'll just point out to the psychological attribute of us somewhat hairless monkeys.
I'll call it baseline normalization.
Whatever you frequently encounter in your day to day becomes so normalized that you stop paying attention to it and make it a baseline expectation in your ecosystem.
Think about that.
And think about its implications when it comes to baseline conditioning and collective culture.
Think about it some more in terms of seizing the memes of production:
